Now, he divides his time fairly equally between stand-up comedy and
close-up magic, and spends about 6 months of the year on the road doing
either one or the other.
With recent appearances
on A & E’s "Comedy on the Road", ABC’s "America’s
Funniest People", SHOWTIME’s "The Hunger", THE DISCOVERY CHANNEL’s "Grand
Illusions", and on the two-volume "Magic of Canada" video series from

best-sellers!
* "He is a gifted performer,
a very funny guy, and an extremely capable
inventor of highly commercial close-up effects!" * "[Acer] treats everything
in his immediate environment as potential
threats, or possibilities. Every situation evokes an assessment, a riposte, a
goad, an amusing or
telling observation... he is funny-cool." * "Sa magie est l¹une des plus efficaces et interessantes qui soient!" [His
magic is among the most effective and interesting there is!] * "David Acer is an original
in a business where creativity is a treasured
commodity, and that fact alone places him on the very short A-list of top
contributors
to the art of magic." * "I have traveled magic¹s
sandy, palm-covered shores and finally found
the golden coconut that is David Acer! Absolutely fabulous!"
Alan has traveled completely around the world and his magic has been
greatly influenced by the exotic places he has visited and performed in. Recently back
from Japan as a guest of the Japanese magical society, Alan continues to delight his
audiences with a very personal and theatrical style of transcending magic. Just Alan and his family own and operate a unique gift store, cafe and
magic emporium in Woodstock, NY where he performs close-up magic daily.
As a child, Alba studied drama with the best drama teachers in
Argentina. Fifteen years ago she started studying at the illustrious Fu
Manchu School of Magic in Buenos Aires. Today Alba has combined both her
knowledge of drama and magic for a very unique approach to her performance.
During the last twelve years she's been on numerous TV shows in Argentina,
lectured on magic internationally, performed at many magic conventions,
acted as an interpreter and translator for many of the worlds most famous
magicians as they have visited her country and has written a book on
restaurant magic that's slated to be published this year in Brazil.
In 1995 she received
The Magic Star Award given after a six month (on-air)
TV competition involving more than 70 magicians. Hailing from Buenos
Aires, Alba came to the United States for the first time, just a few years
ago. In the brief time she's been here, she has taken the United States "by storm." First
she appeared at the famous Magic Castle in Los Angeles
then onto the World Magic Summit in Washington D.C. (one of the most
prestigious magic conventions in the world) and when her busy schedule
allows, she shares her extraordinary talents with our New York audience at
Monday Night Magic.
His awards include 1996 Jr. IBM Close-Up Champion, 1997 Most Original at
NMA, 1997 3rd Place finish in the IBM adult competition, and winner of 1999
Pocono Mountain Magic Fest. He has a number of corporate clients in North
America, including: General Electric, Devnet, and Schick.
His masterful sleight-of-hand and charming, debonair stage presence has
made him the new man on the scene to watch. Don't take your eyes off . . .

Not
just another magician, Carl Andrews is an "entertainer!" His goal is
to make the audience laugh and the fact that he fools his audience is just
icing on the cake. He has won awards in both "comedy" and
"sleight-of-hand" magic contests including a Silver Medal at an
International Sleight-of-hand Convention and First Place in a Star Search
Comedy Competition. On April 9, 2000, Carl was awarded 3rd Place at the
world championship of close-up magicians in Vienna, Austria. At that
championship, Carl also became the first two time winner of the "People's
Choice" award for best magician.
Carl Andrews has performed on two national Japanese TV specials and has
appeared in Las Vegas, Atlantic City, and at the prestigious Magic Castle
in Hollywood. In addition to appearing at conventions, colleges, and
cruise ships, Carl has performed in concert with: Larry Gatlin and the
Gatlin Brothers, Nancy Wilson, Ramsey Lewis, Herbie Mann and Marie Osmond
just to name a few. When he is home Carl entertains for conventions at
several of the resorts on Maui in Hawaii.
Carl enjoys snorkeling, tennis, has a black belt in karate and is the
winner of 5 national karate championships.
At 15
she said "goodbye" to the mundane world and went "on the
road" full-time with her father, magician Jack Adams. Jen's father grew up during the
last days of vaudeville and he passed his love for comedy, slapstick and innuendo onto his
daughter. Jen counts among her heroes: Buster Keaton, Harold Lloyd, Charlie Chaplin, Spike
Jones, Laurel & Hardy, Al Flosso (her father's mentor) and of course her
father Jack. Jen Adams
says of her work, "I try to see things a little
off balance, it helps
people laugh at themselves and see the humor of life. I can't think of a better
gift." Jen is featured frequently at Caesar's Magical Empire in Las Vegas.

Aye Jaye
has worked with Penn and Teller, Jay Leno, Dennis Miller, Emo
Philips, Tim Allen and so many more. He is acknowledged by all as a
consumate professional! Aye Jaye has worked everywhere and for just about
everybody including: United Airlines, McDonalds, Security Insurance and
Northwestern University! Hi is also the author of the best-selling book, "The Golden Rule of Schmoozing" (and will be available to sign books during

Over the years, he has appeared on many television programs including:
Views, Good Day NY, Sound FX and the Today Show. Magick has also actually performed
prestidigitation on the radio twice for Z-100 on Halloween. A ham since
his birth in Brooklyn, New York; when asked if he always
wanted to be a magician, Robert replied: "Not really, but when I was a
kid practicing
my jokes, my father would always ask me if I could disappear." Upon graduation from college with degree in theater, Robert was
presented with the dual opportunities of being accepted to both Ringling Brothers Clown
College and to Law School. Without hesitation, our hero chose the one he felt would give
him the better training for a life in comedy: Law School. At the tender age of ten, Bobby became apprenticed to a Florida illusionist named
Oliver B. Hart. By age 15, Bobby was hired as a carnival magician, replacing stage
conjurer Rajah Raboid (the successor to master illusionist Howard Thurston) in a road
show. During his varied career, Bobby has headlined in dime museums, sideshows, Broadway
theaters, cruise ships, and nightclubs. Bobby has astonished audiences at Madison Square
Garden, the Village Gate, the Latin Quarter, Billy Rose's Diamond Horseshoe and the Hotel
Pierre, and has appeared on bills with stars like Mae West, Jack Lemmon, Harry Richmond,
Martha Ray and Bert Wheeler. In 1949,
Bobby made the jump to television, doing his magic act on Ed Sullivan's "Toast of the Town." Other television credits include "The Merv Griffin
Show," "The Comedy Shop," "The Twin Toni Time Show" and "The
Garry Moore Show." Steve is one of the few performers in the world to headline at both
Monday Night Magic ~ New York and London. We are very pleased to showcase this incredible
talent. Rafael works regularly at corporate events and also lectures,
in five
languages, for magicians in many countries. He made a set of teaching video
tapes
that got rave reviews in all major magic magazines and has also received a
number of
awards, including The Linking Ring Parade of the Year award, from the International
Brotherhood of Magicians. It's
hard to categorize Mike's act. A quote from Boston Magazine where
Mike was named "Best of Boston" sums it up best: "Asked to describe
himself, Mike Bent prefers to be thought of as a human oddity." His act
pays homage to "B" science-fiction and horror movies, comic books (not
the
stories, just those strange ads in the back), atomic visions of the future,
brains, schlock movie gimmicks and 50's hygiene films.
Mike's
recent one man show "Born of Normal Parents" was described as
"gleefully warped and outrageously funny" by the Boston Globe and Mike was
called "a brilliantly original talent." The Boston Phoenix called Mike
"the Steven Wright of magic."
His
television experience includes: Evening at the Improv; Showtime's
Comedy Club Network; Caroline's Comedy Hour; The Nashville Network's Music
City Tonight; the syndicated Spotlight Café; Comedy Central's Stand-Up,
Stand Up; Short Attention Span Theatre and Stand-Up and Deliver. He also
guest-starred with Kevin Meaney, The Amazing Jonathan and Carrot Top in an
ABC prime-time comedy special, America's Super Showcase.
Mike
was also honored to perform at the prestigious Montreal International
Comedy Festival: Just for Laughs, where he was described as having "an
off-beat, sometimes dangerous, palpitation-inducing routine."
Hailing from the Boston Area, Mike doesn't get to our area often
enough. We really look forward to his appearances at Monday Night Magic.
He currently appears weekly on a national television variety program in
Madrid called, From Sunday to Sunday in between his appearance for all of Europe's top
corporations. He is a member of the Psychics Entertainers Association and is presently
developing his own TV special in Spain. We are certainly proud to present Anthony for our
Monday Night Magic audience. Rich is a busy corporate motivational entertainer and a frequent
performer at Hollywood's Magic Castle and at Club Meds around the world. He has served as
a script writer for Orson Welles and has been a consultant to the Folger Shakespeare
Theater at the Library of Congress. Rich resides in Washington, D.C. with his wife, Susan
(a professor of Consitutional Law) a dog, four cats and a parrot that does card tricks.
The Parent
Assembly has chosen John Bohannon as 1998's "Magician
of
the Year, a coveted award presented each year to an outstanding magician. He
will be
presented the award during the S.A.M's annual Salute to Magic, at the Tribeca
Performing
Arts Center, 199 Chambers St., a traditional show presented once each year
for the past 89
years. He performs magic for several major corporations, has been featured on
several TV documentaries about Houdini, and often appears at various venues around New
York City. For more than 20 years John's voice was heard regularly on CBS and NBC, where
he was a network radio news anchorman. He has also been a disc jockey; an actor; and a
truck driver's helper, the Monback (the person who stands on the curb and tells the
driver, Monback). During
World War II, he was the lookout at Pearl Harbor. And he was the
crewman who said to the skipper of the Titanic, "Let's stop for some ice".
In
addition to performing magic, John is also a published author, whose articles
and humor
columns have appeared in Newsday, The New York Times, The New York Daily News,
McCall's,
Woman's Day, The Saturday Evening Post, New York Magazine, and The Writer.

language!!! When
Paul Newman searched the country for the best magician he could
find, he selected Bill Brunelle. Harry Belafonte described Bill as, "The most
entertaining magician I've ever seen." Bill's experience has included
sojourns in
well-known nightclubs and comedy clubs, on cruise ships and on Broadway --
from a featured
role (written for him) in the musical BARNUM to backstage consulting on THE
MAGIC SHOW
starring Doug Henning (also a Slydini protege). Recruited by Fortune 100 companies in recent years as a professional
prestidigitator, Bill has befuddled senior management for clients such as Citibank,
Merrill Lynch, Revlon, ITT, Prudential Securities, Good Housekeeping, ESPN, Newman's Own
and many more. Chris
has been honored for his Linking Ring Routine that appears in the
highly acclaimed magic series, "Stars of Magic" (Number 13). Over
his
career, he has performed all over the United States although, currently,
Chris is trying to stay closer to home and is performing mainly throughout
the tri-state area.
Burger began performing
magic full-time in 1978 after a career as a professor of
philosophy and comparative religion. An elegant and enchanting performer, he
has since
earned a reputation as one of the foremost practitioners of this ancient art.
Stagebill
Magazine proclaims, "Burger is universally recognized as perhaps the finest
close-up
magician in the world." He was recently featured in two major television documentaries, The Art of Magic on
PBS, and Mysteries of Magic on The Learning Channel. In Los Angeles, he recently started
in Hauntings, an Unusual Show for The Halloween Season, which combined magic, music and
selections from the works of Shakespeare. For all his gifts as a performer, Burger remains as much a teacher as a magician. He
has lectured extensively to magician's groups throughout the world and is a two-time
recipient of the Lecturer of The Year Award from The Academy of Magical Arts. A true
scholar of Magic, Burger has also written 12 books on the subject, including Secrets and
Mysteries for The Close-Up Entertainer and The Experience of Magic. Other appearances include such varied venues as the Delacourte Theatre
in Central Park, Caroline's Comedy Club, Surf Reality, The American Repertory Theatre in
Cambridge and a featured role in Forrest Gump. Hilary received her B.A. in Theatre Arts from Hampshire College and has
taken workshops with many, many clowns. We are grateful to share this incredible lady and
her tremendous talents with our Monday Night Magic audience. Todd majored in music at the University of South Florida, while
beginning his career nationwide, as a professional comedian. After graduating with a
Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, he was cast in the role of Martini the Magician in Georg
Osterman's off-Broadway hit, On Th Lam. While continuing on the comedy-club circuit, Todd began working with Bll
Boggs of Fox TV's Comedy Tonight as an audience warmer. In a teaching-performance
capacity, Todd provides magic workshops for
students of Long Island & Upstate New York, as well as juggling and circus
arts
workshops for the National Circus Project, throughout the Northeast. Todd also enjoys performing
for many fundraisers in the US & Canada
for such causes as aid to cancer research, historical preservation and other community
benefits. During the Christmas season of 1992, his performances at "SAND AID" along
with others' helped to raise over $30,000 for the flood victims of Bayville,
Long
Island. Todd's appeared in televised interviews and news programs, in an MTV
music video (as himself), on college cable TV as a guest host, and on comedy and variety
shows, including: TNN's, The Statler Brother's SHow, ABC's America's Funniest People,
SHOWTIME's Comedy Club Network, and CNBC's Break a Leg. He's also apperared on radio and
in international publications including: the New York Times, The Daily News, Magic
Magazine, and Rolling Stone Magazine. In 1994, Todd Charles
was granted the D.A.R.E. Appreciation Award for

with the
coveted Clarke "The Senator" Crandall Award For Comedy. Currently, Todd spends much of his time touring and performing for
corporate functions, theatres, casino/resorts, festivals and cruise ships.
He is a performing member of the prestigious Magic Castle in Los Angeles
and is one of the handful of magicians ever to appear at the exclusive
Windows On The World atop the World Trade Center in New York City.
Comedy and magic fans
are not exclusive to the stage. Michael has
performed his miracles on cruise ships and at conventions, tradeshows and
corporate events. His television appearances include: FOX-TV, Good Morning
New York, NBC's Today Show and ABC's Good Morning America. His corporate
clientele are a veritable "Who's Who" among Fortune 500 Companies
including: IBM, Microsoft, American Express, Deloitte & Touche, Ziff-Davis,
1-800-FLOWERS, Swiss Army Brands, Young & Rubicam and Club Med. His rare
blend of comedy and magic make for a good time to be had by all.
Michael is an entertainer who has literally performed all over the
world. In countries where English wasn't spoken, magic was used to
communicate. Michael started performing magic at the young age of eight
years old. He believes that magic is a way for the shy child to be brought
out of his/her shell. Many children have reached out through their magic
tricks. In his case, the shy has become the outgoing and the impossible
has become possible.
In addition to his demanding performing schedule all over the United
States, Michael is the creator and founding producer of Monday Night Magic.
His "unusual" approach
to magic has won Nowlin numerous awards
for both his comedy and his magic including the International Brotherhood of
Magicians
Stage Competition, the Society of American Magicians Comedy and Originality
awards, and
TCA/Showtime Comedyfest for 1992. Visit his website at www.magictolaughby.com
In the United States he's appeared everywhere from the Florida Keys, to
Hollywood, California, to the Hawaiian Islands. His appearances include
comedy clubs, TV, trade shows, casino show rooms, corporate meetings and
conventions. He was the first St. Louis magician to appear on national
television.
Cuiffo and Hughes are currently developing a number of new works
combining experimental theater and magic including a solo Hamlet and a modern Faust. Devlin
has appeared and (disappeared!) on stages from Hollywood's famed
Magic Castle to headlining in three of his own shows at Bally's, the
Claridge and the Sands Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey. He landed a
feature appearance playing himself on ABC's daytime drama "All My Children" leading
to national exposure. He has shared the bill with such celebrities
as Patti Labelle, Melissa Manchester, Howie Mandel, Kreskin, Marilyn McCoo
and Billy Davis.
The Magic of Devlin has also been selected to appear at some notable

John Cloogey. His corporate appearances read like a Who's Who of Fortune
500 companies, including General Foods, Phillip Morris, Mobil Oil, Sony
Corp., Pepsi Co., Coca Cola and IBM. He is a star attraction on the
Holland American Cruise Line and his many performances onboard luxury ocean
liners like the Queen Elizabeth II have taken him to five continents and
around the seven seas.
Besides being an excellent magician, Tom is also an accomplished
ventriloquist and juggler. Whether Tom is manipulating rings, torches, axes, or just
juggling three balls blindfolded, there is never a dull moment. He tosses objects with the
same deadly accuracy as his punchlines or side-splitting one liners. Professionally, Mr. Durnin has appeared off Broadway, at NYC Comedy
Clubs, at the South Street Seaport and most recently on NBC's Late Night with Conan
O'Brien. He is available to perform at private parties, picnics, weddings, hostile
takeovers, birthdays, earthquakes, conventions, and of course extra-terrestrial sightings. With
many credits to his name including his own special version of the
famous card on the ceiling trick, Doc has recently released a 3 Video Tape
Series called A "Doc"umentary, Bar Magic -- The Real Work. Check
these tapes out, they are
terrific! We are extremely excited to share Doc with our NY audience. Bob has appeared on the Johnny Carson Tonight Show and The Merv Griffin
Show, he taught the prestigious George Schindler-Frank Garcia magic course and has set up

times a month he can be found performing for such groups as the Heart Fund, Cerebral
Palsy, Make A Wish Foundation, senior citizens groups, local hospitals libraries and
schools. As a co-director of Tannen's Magic Camp (of Tannen's Magic Store), one
week every summer (for last 15 years), Bob manages to enlist the help of top magicians as
counselors, to help teach budding new magicians the ancient art of prestidigitation. We are extremely proud and happy to feature Bob as one of our regular
performers. In 1997, the international Psychic Entertainers Association presented Jeff and Tessa
with their highest honor - the prestigious Dunninger Memorial Award for Distinguished
Professionalism in The Performance of Mentalism. Live performances include Caesar's Palace and Bally's Casino Resort in Las Vegas -
cruise ships around the world - the United Nations entertainment tours to the Middle East

after the show is over. After you see them, you will understand why so many people are
fascinated by The Evasons. John has played every comedy club in the New York area, The MGM Grand in
Las Vegas and many more over the last 20 years. After
seeing John perform, most people keep saying "ooooooo,
aaaaaahhhhhh, Danger, Spooky Stuff inside". You'll see.

Leukemia Foundation, Burke Rehabilitation Institute and the Westchester
Medical Center. Currently, David can be found astounding people at
Tannen's Magic Shop in NYC and is very excited to have the opportunity to

Martin's "Pennies from Heaven" films. Currently you might recognize
him on the
small screen as he is appearing in a Wendy's and Volkswagen commercial. Not only
an expert in the art of coin magic, Bob is a respected magic
consultant and lecturer. Bob has directed and coached many magicians including:
David
Copperfield; Jeff McBride (The MAC Award for Mask, Myth and Magic); Peter Samelson
(PBS's "The Art of Magic"), Dameon (Just back from Atlantic City)
and Marc DeSouza.
During World War II, Jackie joined the U.S.O., where he traveled the
globe, boosting morale of troops with entertaining comedy magic shows. After the war, Jack
developed a top-flight stage act, which he performed at nightclubs, hotels, resorts,
colleges, society affairs and on cruise ships in North and South America. Jackie now operates Flosso-Hornmann
Magic at 45 West 34th Street, the
world's oldest continuously-operating magic shop, which has been in his family
since 1939,
where he has dispensed equipment and advice to professional and amateur magicians
for the
past several decades. A recently released biography of his father, "Al Flosso, the
Coney Island Fakir," (1997, L&L Publishing) was written by Gary Brown,
who will
introduce Jackie at tonight's celebration. His
top-selling video lecture "How to Pick A Pocket or Two" has
enjoyed phenomenal worldwide sales, establishing his name in the magical
fraternity..
An authority on street pickpockets and their methods, his uniquely entertaining approach has put James in demand, not only for lectures and cabaret but also from corporate clients through his training and sales
company, Magic Management..
James's stage act combines pick-pocketing, magic and humor in a uniquely entertaining way that keeps audiences enthralled. Far from being victims, those members of the audience who assist James on stage really become the stars of the show. As watches, wallets and other valuables disappear and reappear from their pockets, much to the amusement of the audience and the bewilderment of the unsuspecting assistants a great time is had by all. James's special brand of humor combined with his talents as a performer are enjoyed by audiences wherever he appears.

Michael began studying magic almost 17 years ago and has been on a personal
quest to push his art to the highest level of skill and originality. With
his powerful and charismatic style, Michael has quickly gained
international notoriety. In 1997, his magical innovations earned him the
Mystic Craig Award, given to the most promising young professional
performer, by the Society of American Magicians. Since this award,
numerous performances throughout the magic community have led to television
and live appearances around the world.
During the past year, Michael has performed in diverse venues both
domestically and internationally. From Hollywood's Magic Castle, to
nightclubs in New York, and casinos in Las Vegas and Atlantic City, Michael
has established himself in the United States as a dynamic stage presence.
Abroad, he has appeared in six different countries in front of crowds as
large as twenty thousand. This hectic tour schedule has included
television performances in India, Malaysia, Japan, and on PAX's Mad Cap
Magic. Most recently, Michael will be featured in two shows for Discovery
and the Learning Channel called, Magic's Greatest Illusions, airing January
21, 2000.
The future of magic is bright and Michael Grasso is one of the true shining
stars in a new generation of conjurors.
His combination of extraordinary skill, eccentric humor and jovial
personality make him a true magical star.
At FISM, the "Olympics of Magic," he
was once refused first prize because
the judges were convinced he was using trick cards. Only a second showing
of his performance 3 years later persuaded them that they were watching a
very extraordinary talent.
Lennart Green is truly a living card legend! He has appeared on television
all over the world including on NBC's, World's Great Magic. Fresh from a
command performance and lecture at a national magic convention, he is
making a rare appearance with us tonight.
On the writing side, he published over 2,000 articles throughout the '80s in some of
the most prominent publications in the country, including Harper's Bazaar, Mademoiselle,
McCall's, Self, New Woman, USA Today--all those big, glitzy publications. As a magician, Groves has been performing magic professionally for over 10 years in a
wide variety of venues. He appeared on television several times last year, and is a
featured performer on Amtrak's Los Angeles-to-Seattle run. Groves has become well-known among magicians for his newly published book, Be a Street
Magician, which is a how-to guide to performing magic on the most democratic venue in the
world, the street. And Groves knows whereof he writes. He spent three years on the street, passing the hat
for tips while he honed his act. Finally, in 1997, he found the perfect magic persona.
Now, performing a show that is a synthesis of the magical and the literary, David is the
magician who corrects your English, the rebel without a vowel. He's known far and wide as
The Shakespeare of Magic. Adrian also owns and is
the star performer in "Mandrake Bar Magico," a
magic
nightclub in Buenos Aires (http://www.barmagico.com.ar). He welcomes all of
you to visit
him, drink some fine red Argentine wine, practice your Spanish and watch great
magic. This week, Adrian has pulled
off his biggest magic trick ever with his marriage to Mrs.
Andrea Guerra. They are touring New York City, Las Vegas and beyond on their "Magical-Honeymoon." We
wish them both the best! Harlan is one of the most creative forces in magic. Witty, charming, suave, and silly;
his act is like no one else's in magic. He has invented many popular tricks used by his
peers. His advice and innovative ideas are respected and sought by magicians around the
world and he has released many videos featuring his phenomenal magic and strange sense of
humor. In addition to his countless private and corporate appearances, he has also pleased
audiences at Hollywood's Famous Magic Castle, Caesar's Magical Empire in Las Vegas, and
London's Prestigious Magic Circle. He's funny, he's amazing, and he's made from 100%
natural ingredients. In his humorous keynote
presentation or workshop, "PediaTRICKS," he
instructs children's health care professionals about keeping patients
comfortable and relaxed in the doctors office. Hickman started the
millenium with performances at Firstnight Boston. He recently addressed the
American Association for Therapeutic Humor conference in Nashville and has
a busy schedule this year including a return for a week at the famous Magic
Castle in Hollywood and Carolines family series in New York City. His
overnight success has only taken 25 years of performing professionally.
More is available at http://www.BJHickman.com. He has opened for countless concert acts ranging from Black Sabbath and
Aerosmith to Weird Al Jankovic and Gallager. Recipient of numerous honors including the
Golden Wand and Robert Houdin award, he has also been included into the Smithsonian
Institute in Washington, D.C. A number of years ago, when Alice Cooper needed someone to be in charge

School of Princeton where he excels in fine arts. In the past three years

To quote from a recent
review, "Kougasian opened the performance and acted as
host. His charming personality and contagious enthusiasm quickly permeated the room and
roped the audience in for the start of the show. This was vital, as in a matter of minutes
"Uncle Pete" took us from a fidgety crowd on folding chairs to an enraptured and
engaged audience prepped for the "miracles" to come. Along the way,
he destroyed
and restored various items, seemed to learn the name of half of the audience,
and doled
out some truly unique souvenirs, (I'd tell you about them, but why give away
a fun
surprise?)" Throughout his career,
Peter has had the opportunity to perform for many celebrities
including former Tonight Show host, Johnny Carson and Peter Yarrow of Peter
Paul & Mary acclaim. Peter, a student of the late legend, Slydini,
is also a published magic

JOHN GRAHAM

that he was born with the interest and does magic because he HAS to…he's a
magician. Indeed he has worked solely as a magician his whole life. He
performs regularly at the Caesar's Resorts, and his credits include over
two dozen TV appearances, and hundreds of live shows each year. He
uniquely combines comedy with his magic, but never at the expense of the
mystery. From cruise ships to colleges, nightclubs to casinos, on stage or
close up, John Graham is at his BEST in front of ANY audience. Monday
Night Magic is his first time Off-Broadway, and he'd like to give special
thanks to Simon Lovell.

DENNY HANEY
Denny Haney's interest in magic started in the 1950's. His mentor was then
a very young Howie Schwarzman. Schwarzman introduced Denny to "the
greats" in the close-up magic underground. Denny then became more serious
about the art and enrolled in the prestigious Chavez School of Magic.
Deciding to take the art even further, Denny put together a show that would
make him famous. His developed the pack small, plays big concept which
proved to be a winner. For over 27 years, Denny's schedule consisted of
270 - 300 one-niters in different cities, towns and countries. After
performing and touring for 30 years, Denny has worked for nearly every
large company in the country and abroad. His mix of goofy sight gags and
impeccable skill has contributed to his success. His canvas covered trunk
illusion became the signature piece in Denny's repertoire. It has been
called the world's most baffling illusion.
Five years ago, Denny decided to come off of the road. Still in love with
magic, and looking for ways to spend his time, the Denny & Lee Magic Studio
was born. As with everything else in his life, he started a task all other
dealers in the country said wouldn't work. A magic shop that didn't sell
costumes, gags, or beginner sets. As if that weren't enough he would also
keep the shop open 10 AM - 10 PM, 7 days a week. Well 5 years later, the
shop is a huge success with customers from all around the world.
This success has spawned another satellite location that will be opening in
Las Vegas sometime in January 2002. Denny, now busy with his shop, seldom
finds time to perform. We, at Monday Night Magic are delighted that this
master, who has influenced magicians from Jeff McBride to Jeff Hobson, has
agreed to share his talents with our audience! You can learn more about
Denny, his life and his world famous magic shop at: www.dennymagic.com

(go figure).
His various film scripts are all in turn-around, so don’t bother asking
for them at your local video store. You can, however, find some of

he performed
eight to ten shows a day for more than a decade. There Presto met numerous

secrets
of the trade. In turn, Presto inspired countless budding magicians, with whom
he
generously shared insights, techniques and methods. He later traveled with

a merging of the deft, elegant, gentlemanly gestures of yesteryear with flashier
tricks

he
understands the value of a swiftly flowing act. One French theater critic wrote, "Vito
fills the eyes, the heart, the soul. The spectator that I am becomes the
magician, a child, a mime, and little by little, I become him. I forget all
because he
expresses all."
