Todd has done a wide variety of things during his career . . . a number of them were even legal.

Classically trained as an actor at the American Conservatory Theatre, he has spent a lifetime immersed in American popular entertainment. Todd is a featured performer with Sideshows by the Seashore (at Coney Island), the last remaining sideshow in America. With this show, he eats glass, walks over broken bottles, sticks his hand into animal trap, hammers a four and a half inch nail into his nose, eats fire, swallows swords, breaks a cinder block brick on top of his head with a sledge hammer and blows up a hot water bottle until it bursts.

The most remarkable thing about all this is that it's all real without an ounce of trickery. He has taken these classic sideshow stunts, put his own comic spin on them, and created one of the most amazing and amusing acts in show business.

Todd has performed this one man concert of "deception free amazement" at The Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., the Carnegie Recital Hall, at colleges and universities across the country and on the television shows of David Letterman, Jay Leno, Conan O'Brien, Howard Stern and Geraldo Rivera. Todd has been associated with the Big Apple Circus for more than a dozen years (performing in various roles including the ringmaster) and can often be seen playing piano with Woody Allen's jazz band at the Cafe Carlyle. As part of a parole agreement, Todd performs regularly at New York’s longest running Off-Broadway magic show, Monday Night Magic.
